
When we lived in southern California, if we wanted to take a walk at night and the thermometer read 45°F, we thought it was crazy cold. We’d put sweat pants on over our pants. We’d get our heaviest coats and put on hats and scarves. Our warmest gloves were an absolute must.
Living here in Wyoming now, when the thermometer reads 35°F in the middle of the day, I think wow, it’s really warm. I should take our dog for a walk. I’ll only need a light jacket and my thin gloves. Nice!

All of life is like that. It’s about what you are accustomed to. It’s all relative to that. The important thing to remember is that what you are accustomed to is subject to change.
That’s my thought for the day.
