There are all kinds of smarts.

There are cow smarts and dog smarts and cat smarts. All living things have their own kind of smarts.

Cows and dogs and cats all have the same basic needs. But how they go about fulfilling those needs is very different. So the ways and means of their smarts is also very different.

Therefore, it isn’t reasonable, or fair, to compare one kind of smart to another.

However, I am human and making comparisons is a very human thing to do. So I’ll just say that I think our cat, Miss Fuzz Pants, is smarter than our dog, Maddie.

There is a good chance that Miss Fuzzy Pants thinks the same.

And that’s my thought for the day.
