I learned a new word this morning. Maybe, probably, some of you already know this word.
There was a story about a kid doing a spelling quiz. The letters of the words were scrambled and they had to figure out what the actual word was. One was something like “rtsah.” I immediately thought “harts” (a type of deer), but the “correct” answer was “trash.” The kid wrote “shart.” Turns out it is an actual word and describes when you defecate while expelling intestinal gas … shit plus fart.
So, let’s conjugate: Later today, I shall shart. Yesterday, I sharted. I am currently sharting.
Well, okay, maybe let’s not conjugate.
I’m not really sure we need the word “shart” in our lexicon. But there it is.
There is no denying that it is poignantly descriptive.
